Pelco FSFP-AFSM1SC20 100FX WDM SFP Module
The Pelco FSFP-AFSM1SC20 is a Fast Ethernet WDM SFP transceiver module designed for long-distance fiber optic connectivity in professional surveillance and network infrastructure. This A-side module transmits at 1310 nm over single-mode fiber with SC simplex connectivity, supporting distances up to 20 km. When paired with the complementary B-side module (FSFP-BFSM1SC20 transmitting at 1550 nm), it enables full-duplex 100 Mbps communication over a single fiber strand—significantly reducing fiber strand requirements for extended campus or perimeter deployments.
Key Features
- Fast Ethernet WDM SFP transceiver (A-side, 1310 nm TX)
- Single-mode fiber support up to 20 km
- SC simplex connector for direct integration
- Full-duplex 100 Mbps bidirectional communication on one fiber
- Must be deployed as matched A/B pair with FSFP-BFSM1SC20
- NDAA Section 889 compliant for government installations
- 5-year warranty
Technical Specifications
This SFP module operates as the A-side of a wavelength division multiplexed pair, transmitting on 1310 nm while receiving the complementary 1550 nm signal from its B-side counterpart. The SC simplex connector provides standard connectivity to enterprise switch slots and patch panel infrastructure. Verify compatibility with your existing SFP slot specifications before installation. For LC-connector environments, Pelco offers LC-based SFP variants. Organizations requiring gigabit-class throughput should consider the FSFP-EGSM2LC series instead.
Applications
Ideal for surveillance networks spanning large facilities, campuses, or perimeter security zones where fiber optic backbone infrastructure is required. Reduces installation costs by halving fiber strand count on long runs while maintaining full-duplex communication. Engineered for professional security and enterprise network deployments with regulated compliance requirements.
