Overview

The Add-On ADD-GMC-2RJSFP-POE media converter bridges copper Ethernet to fiber optic or other SFP-based network segments. It allows you to extend network reach beyond standard Ethernet cable lengths and provides 15W of PoE power to a connected device. This is critical for deploying IP cameras or wireless access points in locations where network infrastructure is not readily available or requires extension. The unit accepts two 10/100/1000BASE-TX connections and converts them to a single SFP port, enabling flexible network topology design.

Compatibility

This media converter is designed to interface with standard SFP transceivers (sold separately) and standard 10/100/1000BASE-TX Ethernet devices.
