Description

Middle Atlantic V717 Steel Internal Elbow Fitting — 700 Series Ivory

Overview

The V717 is a steel internal elbow fitting designed for use with Middle Atlantic 700 Series raceway and cord cover systems. It solves the corner-routing problem in structured cable runs — where a channel must change direction inside a wall or along a baseboard — by providing a smooth 90° internal turn without cutting or improvising a junction. The V717 ships in an ivory finish to match the 700 Series palette, keeping installations clean and consistent in commercial interiors such as classrooms, open offices, and healthcare corridors. At 3.88 in × 3.88 in footprint and just 0.75 in tall, it sits flush against the surface without creating a visible bulge at transition points. TAA compliance makes it a straightforward fit for federal and government-funded projects subject to Trade Agreements Act procurement requirements.

Compatibility

The V717 is sized and finished specifically for the Middle Atlantic 700 Series raceway system. It pairs with 700 Series base channels, covers, and fittings — including couplings, outside elbows, flat elbows, and end fittings — that share the same ivory color code and channel profile. It is not interchangeable with the 500 Series or 300 Series profiles, which use different channel widths. Verify the series designation on your existing raceway before ordering; mixing series produces mismatched snap-fit geometry and visible color gaps at joints.

Installation Notes

The internal elbow mounts inside the raceway channel at a corner transition. Align the fitting to the channel profile before snapping or securing the cover — the 3.88 in × 3.88 in footprint requires clear wall clearance at the corner. No tools are specified for the fitting itself, but the surrounding raceway base must be fastened to the wall surface per the 700 Series installation requirements before the elbow is seated. Color: Ivory — order the comparable fitting in a different color code if your installation uses white or other 700 Series color variants.
