Panorama Antennas SAB-225T Tall Magnetic Adapter

Overview

The Panorama Antennas SAB-225T is a tall magnetic adapter designed to provide a secure and elevated mounting solution for antennas. This adapter is specifically engineered for applications where a standard magnetic mount may not offer sufficient clearance or stability, such as on vehicles or equipment with irregular surfaces. By raising the antenna, it helps to minimize interference from the mounting surface and ensures optimal signal transmission and reception for mobile and fixed surveillance systems. The SAB-225T model features a taller profile compared to standard adapters, providing additional height for critical installations.

Compatibility

This magnetic adapter is designed to be compatible with Panorama Antennas' LGMM (Low Ground Plane Magnetic Mount) series antennas. It serves as an intermediary component, allowing these antennas to be securely attached to metallic surfaces via a strong magnetic base. It is suitable for use with a wide range of mobile and fixed communication systems that utilize LGMM antennas, including cellular, Wi-Fi, and GPS applications within surveillance and IoT deployments.

Installation Notes

Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of debris before attaching the magnetic base. The magnetic base requires a ferrous metal surface of sufficient thickness (typically 3mm or more) to achieve maximum holding strength. Periodically check the security of the magnetic mount, especially on vehicles subjected to vibration or high speeds. The tall design requires consideration for overhead clearance during installation and operation.
