Axiom C6MB-K7-AX 7ft Cat6 Black Molded Boot Patch Cable

Overview

The Axiom C6MB-K7-AX is a 7-foot, black Category 6 patch cable designed for reliable network connectivity. Featuring molded boots on both ends, this cable provides strain relief and protects the RJ45 connectors from damage during installation and daily use. Its 550MHz bandwidth capability ensures it can handle data rates up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet, making it suitable for high-demand applications including surveillance systems, data centers, and enterprise networks where signal integrity is critical.

Compatibility

This Cat6 cable is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 standards and is designed to work with any standard networking equipment featuring RJ45 ports. This includes network switches, routers, servers, IP cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), and workstations. It is suitable for use in Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) environments, provided the connected equipment and network infrastructure support these speeds.

Installation Notes

Ensure connectors are fully seated in their respective ports for optimal performance. The molded boots provide strain relief, but avoid excessive bending or pulling forces that could compromise the cable's internal conductors or the integrity of the connection. For optimal performance in 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications, ensure the entire network path (cables, switches, NICs) is Cat6 or higher.
