Electric Strikes
Electric strikes replace the fixed strike plate in a door frame with an electromechanical unit that releases on command, allowing a door to be pushed or pulled open without retracting the latch bolt. They are the default door control device on most commercial access control openings.
Plan Your Deployment

What to Look For
Fail-secure is the standard on most interior commercial openings; fail-safe is required on stair doors, areas of refuge, and egress paths where local code demands free exit. Match voltage to the existing door control panel. ANSI Grade 1 strikes are rated for the heaviest commercial cycles and are recommended on high-traffic doors.
