Overview
The KIT-M02002 is a clear polycarbonate protective frame designed for the STI Stopper II electric strike. It provides transparent tamper-resistant coverage that prevents unauthorized access, vandalism, and accidental operation while keeping the strike mechanism visible for inspection. Operating at 9VDC, this frame mounts directly over the strike assembly using four fixing holes drilled into masonry or wall substrate. The clear construction allows visual verification of strike status without removing the cover.
Compatibility
This frame is designed exclusively for the STI Stopper II electric strike platform. Installation requires a standard 9VDC power supply already present in your access control circuit. The frame accommodates standard RJ-45 or equivalent control wiring routed through cable entry gaskets.
Installation Notes
Position the frame centrally over the Stopper II device and mark the four fixing hole locations. Drill holes using a 7mm masonry drill bit, then secure the frame with the wall fixings provided. Select and install the appropriate cable gasket for your wiring system — multiple gasket options are included to blank off unused cable entry holes on surface installations. The frame requires no additional power; it draws current only when the strike is energized by your access control panel.
