Overview
The Vertiv Liebert PSI5-5000RT208N is a 5000VA line-interactive Uninterruptible Power Supply designed for rack or tower deployment. It provides conditioned power with automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to protect critical IT infrastructure, including servers, network switches, and storage arrays, from voltage fluctuations and outages. Its 1U form factor ensures efficient use of rack space, while the 208V input and output wiring makes it suitable for enterprise environments. The PSI5-5000RT208N is engineered to deliver reliable backup power, ensuring operational continuity during short-term power disturbances.
Compatibility
This UPS is designed for use with standard 208V IT equipment. It features a L6-30P input plug and four L6-30R output receptacles, accommodating devices with similar power connectors. The unit's automatic voltage regulation operates within a 150-281VAC input range, providing stable 208VAC output. For lower voltage output configurations (100/110/115/125 VAC), a separate TDU (Transformer Distribution Unit) is required, which is not included with this model. It is compatible with standard network racks and is suitable for deployment in server rooms and data closets.
Installation Notes
The Vertiv PSI5-5000RT208N requires a 208V circuit with an L6-30P plug for input power. The unit outputs power through four L6-30R receptacles. Its operating temperature range extends up to 40°C (104°F), allowing for deployment in standard IT environments. The UPS can be installed as a rackmount unit using provided hardware or as a tower. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to maintain optimal operating temperatures and efficiency, especially when operating at higher loads.
