Overview
The PSI5-1100SRT2ULI is a 1100VA/990W line-interactive UPS from Vertiv's Liebert PSI5 line, engineered for edge IT closets, distributed security infrastructure, and compact rack deployments where standard lead-acid UPS units burn through too much depth and too many battery replacements. The lithium-iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry delivers an 8–10 year battery life — roughly three times a conventional VRLA unit — so you're not budgeting a mid-life battery swap on every installed unit. At 11.81 inches deep, the short-depth 2U chassis fits shallow-depth two-post or four-post racks that a full-depth UPS cannot. Pure sine wave output protects active PFC power supplies common in modern NVRs and servers; a stepped approximation would cause those loads to run hot or fault out. AVR corrects input ranging from 75–150VAC without switching to battery, extending both runtime and battery cycle life on sites with marginal utility power. Six NEMA 5-15R outlets split into programmable groups let you sequence shutdown or prioritize critical loads — useful when protecting a mixed rack of cameras, switches, and compute. The gravity-sensing LCD rotates its display automatically whether the unit is racked horizontally or standing in tower orientation, eliminating the orientation confusion common during initial commissioning.

Designed for 120VAC North American environments. Output voltage is selectable at 100, 110, 115, or 125VAC to match connected equipment tolerances. Input is NEMA 5-15P; outlets are 6x NEMA 5-15R, compatible with standard rack PDUs, PoE switches, NVRs, access control panels, and edge compute nodes drawing under 990W aggregate. Management integrates via USB or the optional Liebert IntelliSlot RDU120 network card (sold separately) for SNMP/web-based monitoring — compatible with Vertiv's Liebert monitoring ecosystem and most third-party power management platforms via standard UPS communication protocols. An EPO (Emergency Power Off) connector is provided for facilities requiring hardwired emergency shutdown integration. Certified to UL 1778 5th Edition, UL1973 3rd Ed, and CSA C22.2 107.3-14; Energy Star certified. Not designed for 208/240VAC circuits — confirm your rack PDU or outlet is 120VAC before ordering.
Installation Notes
Fits 2-post or 4-post racks; wall-mount bracket option supported. Operating temperature range is 32°–104°F (0°–40°C) — do not install in unventilated enclosures or environments exceeding this range, as lithium-ion thermal management is tighter than lead-acid. Hot-swappable batteries allow replacement without powering down connected loads, reducing maintenance windows in critical power deployments. Runtime at 50% load (495W) is 20 minutes; at full 990W load, 9 minutes — size connected loads accordingly if extended runtime is a site requirement.
