Questions about this product? Free pre-sales support from a senior specialist — product questions, compatibility checks, BOM quotes, price confirmation — typically answered within one business day. Need camera placement or system design work? Engineering time is $175 per hour (qty 1 = 1 hour). Hardware buyers get up to one hour ($175) credited back on their order.
The EAP773 is a ceiling-mount tri-band Wi-Fi 7 access point purpose-built for enterprise deployments requiring high-density coverage and multi-band spectrum utilization. With a single 10G RJ45 port (10Gbps capable), this unit consolidates uplink capacity into a single connection, eliminating the need for multiple gigabit runs per AP — a meaningful simplification in warehouse automation facilities and enterprise campuses where backhaul density directly impacts installation labor and cable routing complexity. The 6 GHz band support (5760 Mbps allocation) offloads congested 5 GHz traffic, improving throughput predictability in environments with high concurrent device counts. Internal antenna design (4x) reduces visible clutter on ceiling grids and simplifies maintenance.
Supports 802.3bt PoE++ (high-power option) or 12V DC via optional adapter (not included). PoE++ delivery eliminates a separate power drop, but confirm your PoE injector or switch supports 802.3bt output before ordering — standard 802.3at (30W) and 802.3af (15.4W) are insufficient. The EAP773 integrates with the Omada SDN Controller for centralized provisioning, band steering, load balancing, and airtime fairness across multiple units. Mobile management via the Omada app supports remote configuration and monitoring.
MLO (Multi-Link Operation) permits simultaneous data transmission across multiple bands, reducing latency in latency-sensitive applications. Beamforming and 4K-QAM modulation focus RF energy and increase spectral efficiency — practical for dense office or warehouse zones where standard omni-directional coverage would waste power. Seamless roaming supports client handoff between APs without reconnection delays, critical for mobile scanning and warehouse management system (WMS) devices in motion.
Best suited for enterprises standardizing on Wi-Fi 7 infrastructure, sites with existing Omada controller investment, and deployments where backhaul capacity justifies 10G uplink cost. Not recommended for small-office single-AP installations or sites locked into legacy non-Omada management systems.
