The 802.3at PoE+ support eliminates the need for separate power runs—standard PoE injection powers the unit directly. Integration with TP-Link's Omada SDN controller provides cloud-based or hardware-controller management across dozens of access points from a single pane of glass, critical when coordinating roaming, band steering, and load balancing across multiple floors or zones.

Compatibility

The EAP683 UR integrates with TP-Link's Omada ecosystem: Omada Cloud Controller, Omada Hardware Controller, and the Omada mobile app. It pairs with TP-Link Omada switches and gateways to form a unified SDN architecture.
