The EAP772 delivers 11 Gbps aggregate throughput across three bands — 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 4,320 Mbps on 5 GHz, and 5,760 Mbps on 6 GHz — designed for high-density warehouse, manufacturing floor, and enterprise office deployments where airtime congestion and latency matter. The 320 MHz bandwidth and multi-link operation (MLO) reduce packet collisions and interference, critical where dozens of industrial IoT devices, mobile computers, or automated systems operate simultaneously. Ceiling mount form factor fits standard drop-ceiling grids or wall installations without floor space consumption. Supports both 802.3at PoE+ and 12V DC power — a practical redundancy option for sites with dual power distribution. Centralized management via TP-Link Omada SDN controller and mobile app eliminates per-device configuration, which accelerates deployment across multi-building sites.
Choose the EAP772 for warehouse automation systems requiring low-latency scanning handoffs, retail or logistics facilities with barcode readers and mobile inventory terminals, or corporate campuses where seamless roaming between access points prevents VoIP and video call drops. The 6 GHz band is especially valuable in congested RF environments—legacy 2.4/5 GHz bands remain saturated in urban multi-tenant buildings, so 6 GHz provides genuinely clean spectrum. Band steering and load balancing distribute clients intelligently, preventing any single AP from becoming a bottleneck. Not suitable for outdoor exposure; use the outdoor variant (EAP772-Outdoor) for yard or perimeter applications.
802.3at PoE+ supplies sufficient power (maximum 25.44 W US / 24.05 W EU under PoE); alternatively, the included 12V/2.5A DC adapter provides identical functionality without PoE infrastructure dependency — useful in facilities where power strips are easier to install than PoE injectors. Note: power adapter is not included; source separately if choosing DC power. Web-based management, SSH, SNMP (v1/v2c/v3), and system logging enable integration with existing monitoring stacks. Omada SDN controller centralizes firmware, firewall rules, and client policies across all access points, eliminating manual per-unit updates.
Operating range 0–40 °C (32–104 °F) and 10–90% non-condensing humidity supports temperature-controlled indoor spaces — warehouses with climate control, data centers, and air-conditioned offices. Industrial facilities with high ambient heat or uncontrolled humidity may exceed these limits; confirm site conditions before ordering. 2 kV lightning protection on the antenna circuit provides basic transient suppression but does not replace hardened surge protection on the PoE line itself.
