Description

TP-Link DECO X50(1-PACK)_ISP AX3000 Mesh Wi-Fi Unit

Overview

The TP-Link DECO X50(1-PACK)_ISP is an AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 mesh node sold as a single unit. It delivers up to 3 Gbps aggregate throughput across dual bands — 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz — suitable for filling coverage gaps in medium-sized residential or small commercial spaces where a multi-unit mesh system is already in place or planned incrementally. This single-pack unit plugs into an existing DECO mesh network (or starts a new one) and supports seamless roaming via unified SSID configuration.

Compatibility

The DECO X50(1-PACK)_ISP is compatible with other units in the TP-Link DECO X50 series and works within larger DECO mesh ecosystems that support Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). It will not function as a bridge or extender outside the DECO mesh architecture without manual configuration. Check your existing router's DECO compatibility before pairing — TP-Link's DECO app handles mesh setup, but older routers or non-TP-Link hardware may not integrate seamlessly.

Installation Notes

Position the unit in a central location within 50–100 feet of the parent router or another active mesh node for reliable backhaul performance. Avoid metal enclosures, microwave ovens, and high-density RF environments. Power consumption is low (typical 10W under load), so standard 100–240V AC outlets suffice. Reset-to-factory via the physical reset button on the back if pairing fails — hold for 10+ seconds. No ethernet backhaul required for initial setup, though wired backhaul via LAN improves stability on congested 2.4 GHz bands.
