The PDT-1220C-NS is a low-profile vertical rack power distribution unit from the Middle Atlantic PDT Series designed for rack enclosures where you need straightforward 20A power distribution without surge protection overhead. Rated at 2400W (120V AC input/output), it delivers 12 NEMA 5-20R outlets arranged as 6 duplexes — enough capacity to power a dense NVR, PoE switch, and ancillary gear in a single rack enclosure without daisy-chaining strips. The 9 ft cord with NEMA 5-20P male plug gives you reach to a standard 20A dedicated circuit without an extension. This is a no-surge model — appropriate when your upstream UPS or PDU already handles transient suppression and you don't want to pay for redundant protection.
Compatibility
Fits standard 19-inch EIA rack enclosures. The PDT-1220C-NS mounts vertically and uses Middle Atlantic's customizable mounting clip system, making it compatible with Middle Atlantic rack cabinets including the ERK, BGR, and WRK series. The NEMA 5-20R outlets accept any standard 5-15P or 5-20P device plug, so it works with common security hardware including NVRs, managed PoE switches, video encoders, and access control panels — any 120V equipment drawing within the 2400W aggregate limit. The hybrid inlet design accommodates flexible cord routing inside the rack.
