With 24 outlets on a single 20A circuit — 22× NEMA 5-15R and 2× NEMA 5-20R — the PD-2420SC-NS handles mixed loads in a single vertical strip, covering standard 15A devices alongside the occasional higher-draw 20A device (switches, UPS units, or edge servers) without requiring a second PDU. The included 10 ft SignalSAFE power cord routes cleanly to a standard 20A wall or panel circuit, and UL listing confirms compliance for commercial installations.
Compatibility
Designed for racks that accept vertical mount power distribution — compatible with standard Middle Atlantic rack enclosures and open-frame racks that support rear-channel vertical PDU mounting. The slim form factor is specifically suited for rack PDU installations in security head-end rooms, IT closets, and AV equipment racks where depth and side clearance are limited. The NEMA 5-20 input requires a dedicated 20A circuit and matching NEMA 5-20R receptacle or outlet at the source — confirm your panel or UPS output before deploying. Installation Notes
