Overview
The KT-8DNE4-WTA is a factory pre-wired access control enclosure configured for 4-door deployments on Kantech KT-1-PCB/2/4 controllers. It arrives fully assembled and internally wired—no field wiring of power harnesses or distribution modules required. This eliminates a major source of installation error and cuts deployment time on multi-door facilities where consistent, repeatable setups matter.
Compatibility
Works exclusively with Kantech KT-1-PCB/2/4 access control panels. The enclosure houses integrated power and distribution modules factory-mounted on a removable backplate alongside the controller, so no additional internal cabinet wiring is needed by field technicians. Compatible with professional access control system architectures requiring centralized door management.
Installation Notes
Input voltage selectable at 120VAC, 208VAC, or 230VAC, 50/60Hz—confirm your facility supply before ordering. Enclosure outputs dual voltage (12VDC and 24VDC) on separate fused lock and auxiliary circuits controlled by the KT controller. All internal wiring is tie-wrapped and documented point-to-point, so technicians can reference exact connections during troubleshooting or future service. Operating range: 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C)—suitable for climate-controlled electrical rooms or mechanical spaces, not outdoor or uncontrolled environments. Battery charging (SLA or LiFePO4 compatible) is managed onboard with low-discharge cutoff to prevent deep discharge. Onboard fire alarm interface (FAI) allows emergency door release triggered by facility fire systems. Mount the predrilled backplate using standard screwdriver installation—no special tools required.
