Overview
The Kantech KT-2DNE2-WTB is a factory pre-wired enclosure for 2-door access control systems built on the ProWire platform. This unit eliminates on-site internal wiring by shipping with a complete wiring harness installed and routed to the KT controller backplate — you mount, connect input power and door locks, and commission. Designed for integrators running multi-door Kantech installations where speed and consistency matter: retail chains, office parks, or retrofit expansions where reducing field labor cuts project timeline and risk.
Compatibility
Works with Kantech KT-1-PCB/2/4 controllers housed on a removable factory-mounted backplate. The pre-wired harness connects system power, lock power, and tamper logic to the controller without additional internal cabinet wiring. Accepts 12 or 24VDC output selection per channel — choose the voltage that matches your lock actuators and powered devices. Fire alarm interface (FAI) built in for centralized emergency door release on alarm trigger.
Installation Notes
Input voltage: 120VAC, 208VAC, or 230VAC at 50/60 Hz — select during procurement based on site power availability. Operating temperature range 32–122°F (0–50°C) supports indoor mechanical rooms or non-climate-controlled utility closets. Fused lock and auxiliary power outputs protect controller relays from high-current lock switching — no external inline fuses required. Backplate is pre-drilled for standard DIN rail or wall mounting; mounting hardware and documentation included.
