Overview

The Kantech KT-4DNE2-WTA is a factory pre-wired, all-in-one access control power and distribution enclosure rated for 4-door installations. It eliminates field wiring of internal cabinet connections by arriving with power and distribution modules factory-installed and hard-wired to the KT controller backplate. This cuts on-site labor significantly — installers mount the enclosure, connect input power and door lock outputs, and go live without building internal harnesses. The unit accepts 120VAC, 208VAC, or 230VAC at 50/60Hz and outputs selectable 12 or 24VDC with fused lock and auxiliary power distribution, managing power delivery to both the access control panel and electromagnetic locks from a single compact footprint.

Compatibility

Designed to house and power Kantech KT-1-PCB/2/4 series access control panels. The pre-wired configuration mounts these controllers on a removable backplate, supporting multi-door installations on a point-to-point wiring architecture. Works within Kantech ProWire ecosystem for networked access control deployments requiring centralized power and battery management.

The enclosure includes a predrilled backplate for KT controller mounting and factory-installed wiring harness — no internal cabinet wiring required during field installation. Onboard fire alarm interface (FAI) centrally releases all doors on emergency trigger. Supports intelligent battery management with LiFePO4 or SLA charging options, 50% faster recharge than standard systems, and low battery cutoff to prevent deep discharge. Point-to-point wiring documentation is included to guide door circuit routing and auxiliary device connections.
