Honeywell LTEM-PV Verizon LTE-M Fire Communicator
Overview
The LTEM-PV is a cellular communicator module designed to connect Honeywell VISTA control panels to AlarmNet central monitoring stations via Verizon's LTE CAT-M1 network. It provides primary or redundant alarm transmission when your Ethernet connection is unavailable or compromised. CAT-M1 technology delivers better signal strength and power efficiency than standard LTE, with reliable performance in underground and indoor environments where traditional cellular struggles.
Compatibility
The LTEM-PV connects to VISTA-series control panels via both ECP and Bus connection types. It is part of the LTEM-P communicator family (LTEM-PV for Verizon, LTEM-PA for AT&T). The module integrates with Resideo Total Connect 2.0 remote services, allowing end users to access their VISTA control panel remotely through the AlarmNet 360 dealer web portal.
Network Options
Primary connectivity uses Verizon's LTE CAT-M1 cellular network for alarm transmission to AlarmNet. Optional backup or supplemental connectivity includes Ethernet (10Base-T) or Wi-Fi via the PROWIFIZW plug-in module (sold separately). Only one method—Ethernet or Wi-Fi—can be active at a time; you cannot run both simultaneously.
Modular Expansion
The LTEM-PV accepts optional add-on modules: LTE CAT-1 radio upgrade (PROLTE series) for enhanced cellular features, Wi-Fi/Z-Wave module (PROWIFIZW) for internet and home automation control, or Dialer Capture Module (PRODCM) for legacy Contact ID dialer support. This modular design lets you configure the communicator to match your panel's existing integration needs without replacing the base unit.
