Overview
The Panduit FHC9N-12-03AF is a 12-fiber HD Flex™ cassette designed for structured cabling deployments requiring high-density fiber termination. It converts a single MPO-12 male connector to six duplex SC connectors, facilitating the transition from trunk cabling to patch panel or equipment connections. This unit utilizes OS2 single-mode fiber and features standard insertion loss, making it suitable for data center and enterprise backbone applications.
Compatibility
This cassette is designed for use within Panduit's HD Flex™ fiber optic systems. It is intended to interface with MPO-12 male trunk cables and standard duplex SC connectors commonly found on network switches, routers, and patch panels. Its specific application is within fiber optic enclosures and panels that support the HD Flex™ modular system.
Installation Notes
The cassette is constructed from polycarbonate for durability and ease of handling. It is designed to snap directly into compatible HD Flex™ enclosures or panels without requiring special tools. The MPO connector is male (pin-type), requiring a corresponding female (pinless) MPO trunk cable. The duplex SC connectors are keyed for correct polarity.
