Overview

The Panduit FHC9N-12-LAU is an HD Flex™ OS2 fiber cassette designed to bridge MPO trunk cables to LC duplex connections. This unit supports 12 fibers, terminating a 12-fiber MPO male connector on one side and providing six LC duplex ports on the other. It is engineered for standard insertion loss and utilizes universal polarity, making it suitable for high-density fiber deployments where efficient patching between trunk and distribution cabling is critical.

Compatibility

This cassette is designed for use within Panduit's HD Flex™ enclosure systems. It is compatible with OS2 single-mode fiber infrastructure and terminates to standard LC duplex connectors, ensuring broad compatibility with network switches, transceivers, and patch panels that utilize these interfaces. The universal polarity supports both Type A and Type B MPO trunk cables when used with appropriate mating connectors or adapters.

Installation Notes

The cassette features a durable polycarbonate housing. It is designed for tool-less insertion into compatible HD Flex™ panels or enclosures. The MPO-12 male connector mates directly with female MPO trunk cables, while the six LC duplex ports are standard for patch cord termination. Ensure proper fiber cleaning procedures are followed before mating any connectors to maintain signal integrity and achieve standard insertion loss specifications.
