Overview

The Panduit HD Flex™ FHC9N-12-LAAF is a 12-fiber cassette designed for high-density fiber optic deployments. It terminates a single MPO-12 male connector and breaks out to six LC Duplex connectors, supporting OS2 single-mode fiber. This cassette is engineered for standard insertion loss applications, utilizing Method A polarity after pair reversal, ensuring reliable network connectivity in structured cabling systems.

Compatibility

This cassette is designed for use within Panduit's HD Flex™ fiber optic enclosure systems. It is compatible with OS2 single-mode fiber optic cabling and standard MPO and LC connector interfaces. When paired with appropriate Panduit HD Flex™ patch panels and enclosures, it facilitates seamless integration into existing fiber infrastructure, supporting speeds up to 40/100/400 GbE depending on the upstream equipment and fiber configuration.

Installation Notes

The cassette employs Method A polarity, which requires specific attention during installation to ensure correct channel mapping. This method involves reversing pairs within the MPO connector to achieve a straight-through connection from the transmitter on one end to the receiver on the other when used in a standard duplex MPO-to-MPO trunk. The polycarbonate material offers durability, and the black color is standard for fiber optic components.
