Overview

The Panduit FHC9N-12-03AS is a high-density fiber optic cassette designed for structured cabling systems. It terminates a 12-fiber MPO/MTP connector to six duplex SC connectors, facilitating the transition from trunk cabling to individual device connections. This unit utilizes OS2 single-mode fiber and adheres to polarity method A, making it suitable for standard data center and enterprise backbone deployments requiring 9-micron fiber core connections. Its polycarbonate construction ensures durability in rack-mount environments.

Compatibility

This cassette is designed for use with Panduit HD Flex™ enclosures and patch panels. It is compatible with OS2 single-mode fiber infrastructure. The MPO-12 male connector interfaces with standard MPO trunk cables, while the six duplex SC ports connect to SC-terminated patch cords or equipment interfaces. This specific configuration is ideal for deployments transitioning from a 12-fiber MPO trunk to 12 individual SC connections (6 pairs).

Installation Notes

The cassette slides into compatible HD Flex™ enclosures. Ensure the MPO trunk cable is correctly oriented and clean before mating. The SC duplex connectors accept standard patch cords. Polarity method A ensures correct transmit/receive paths when used with compatible trunk cables and equipment.
