The Panduit FHC9N-12-3GAS is an HD Flex™ fiber optic cassette designed for high-density network infrastructure. It provides a crucial interface, converting a single MPO-12 Male connector to six Duplex SC/APC connectors, facilitating the transition from trunk cabling to individual fiber drops or patch panels. This specific model utilizes OS2 single-mode fiber and adheres to Polarity Method A, making it suitable for structured cabling deployments requiring precise fiber management and minimal signal loss in commercial or data center environments.

Compatibility

This cassette is part of the Panduit HD Flex™ system. It is designed to integrate with Panduit HD Flex™ enclosures and patch panels. The MPO-12 Male connector is standard for 12-fiber trunk assemblies, while the Duplex SC/APC connectors are compatible with standard SC patch cords and equipment ports. Installation Notes

The cassette features a durable polycarbonate construction for reliable operation. It is designed for tool-less insertion into compatible HD Flex™ chassis. The MPO connector is keyed and requires proper alignment during insertion. Polarity Method A ensures that transmit fibers on the MPO connector align with transmit fibers on the SC connectors, and vice-versa, which is critical for duplex communication.
