The Middle Atlantic PD-815SC is a slim, high-density vertical power distribution strip purpose-built for rack installations where horizontal 1U shelf space is at a premium. Delivering 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets on a 15A circuit, the PD-815SC mounts vertically inside standard equipment racks, keeping your horizontal rack units free for active gear — cameras, NVRs, switches, and encoders — while still powering up to 8 devices from a single 120V AC circuit. The included 10-foot cord with NEMA 5-15P plug provides reach to a standard wall or rack-mounted receptacle without an extension cable. Basic surge protection guards connected equipment against line transients, and the SignalSAFE power cord design reduces interference coupling into sensitive AV or security electronics. Installation Notes
Mounts vertically via quick-clip mounting hardware, which attaches directly to standard rack rail without tools beyond a Phillips screwdriver. The 1.78-inch depth fits within the rear-rail clearance of most 2-post and 4-post racks. Route the 10-foot cord to the nearest 15A-protected circuit — do not daisy-chain to another PDU or power strip, as this voids UL compliance and can overload the upstream circuit. All 8 outlets are switched, so individual devices can be power-cycled without disconnecting cables.
