Overview

The Axis 01216-001 is a dedicated white LED illuminator purpose-built to extend camera visibility in low-light and nighttime surveillance. Powered entirely via PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at), it eliminates the need for separate power infrastructure — a meaningful simplification on retrofit jobs or sites where power runs are already constrained. Beam distance reaches 110 meters (360 feet), covering everything from narrow perimeter spotlights to wide-angle parking lot fill-in lighting. Four interchangeable diverging lenses (10°, 35°, 60°, 80°) let you dial in the exact coverage footprint without repositioning hardware.

Compatibility

Designed for integration with Axis network camera installations. Mounts as a pendant unit via a single 3/4-inch opening (probe-dependent installation). Pairs with any Axis camera system where supplemental white light improves forensic image quality — particularly effective for perimeter security, building entrances, parking facilities, and industrial yards where ambient light is insufficient for detail-grade footage.
