Overview

The PMAX-0813 is a gang box converter designed to house ACTi A8x series cameras (excluding A88) inside standard two-gang electrical junction boxes. This accessory solves the installation constraint when retrofit deployments require discrete, code-compliant mounting in existing wall cavities—avoiding surface-mounted housings that break interior aesthetics or violate building code in commercial and light industrial spaces.

Compatibility

Works with ACTi A8x series cameras (all models except A88). Powered via PoE (802.3af), drawing power directly from your network switch without requiring separate electrical infrastructure. Integrates into standard North American two-gang electrical boxes, making it suitable for retrofit environments and new construction where camera housings must fit within wall cavity constraints.

Installation Notes

The PMAX-0813 mounts flush within a two-gang box cavity. Verify your wall cavity dimensions match standard two-gang depth and width before ordering.
