The CNFE2003M2 is a two-channel media converter that takes two 10/100 Mbps electrical (copper) inputs and consolidates them onto a single 100 Mbps optical fiber output—solving the common problem of extended camera runs where copper cabling would degrade signal or pick up noise. This is the right choice when you need to bridge an IP surveillance network over fiber to a distant headend, remote warehouse, or hardened site where electrical isolation matters. The unit supports optional 802.3at PoE+ (30W standard or 60W high-power variant), meaning it can inject power downstream to PoE cameras while also transmitting video up the fiber backbone.

Compatibility

The CNFE2003M2 works with any standard 10/100 BASE-T surveillance camera, NVR, or switch that outputs copper RJ-45. Common pairings include IP cameras over extended distance, managed Ethernet switches in distributed surveillance architectures, and video encoders in hybrid analog-to-IP migration projects.
