Overview

The K-1775-IP-EWP is a fully integrated VoIP entry phone engineered for harsh outdoor access points — loading docks, facility entrances, and perimeter gates where a single device needs to handle intercommunication, identity verification, and video capture simultaneously. This unit ships with the rough-in box for flush mounting and adds full Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) beyond the base K-1775-IP, including a fully potted electronics board rated IP66 and operational from -30°F to 150°F (-29°C to 54°C) with humidity tolerance up to 100% condensing. The faceplate is 14-gauge 316 stainless steel — a marine-grade alloy that resists corrosion and pitting in coastal or chemical-exposure environments where 304 SS would degrade. Laser-etched graphics hold up where printed or adhesive labels won't. Audio output reaches 70 dB maximum at 1 meter, loud enough to cut through ambient noise at active industrial entrances without amplification hardware.

Compatibility

The K-1775-IP-EWP integrates with Viking's VoIP infrastructure ecosystem. The built-in 125KHz 26-bit Wiegand proximity card reader connects directly to any access control panel accepting standard Wiegand input — the most common interface on commercial panels from HID-compatible systems. The analog NTSC color video output (420 lines, 80° horizontal FOV, 0.025 lux sensitivity) feeds analog DVRs or video door controllers expecting composite NTSC input; this is not an IP camera output.
