Pelco SXRE4-VF14-EBT-1 VGA Radiometric Bullet Camera
Overview
The SXRE4-VF14-EBT-1 is a thermal-sensing bullet camera engineered for outdoor perimeter and critical infrastructure monitoring where temperature anomaly detection matters as much as visual surveillance. VGA resolution (640x480) paired with radiometric thermal imaging lets you identify heat signatures and abnormal temperature fluctuations across monitored zones—up to 300m away—without relying on visible light. This is the camera for detecting equipment overheating, perimeter intrusion in complete darkness, and industrial hazard prevention where a conventional IP camera would be blind.
Compatibility
The SXRE4-VF14-EBT-1 integrates into any ONVIF-compliant VMS or NVR ecosystem via standard RJ-45 Ethernet. ONVIF Profile S, T, and M compliance ensures compatibility with third-party recording and management platforms—Milestone, Genetec, Axis Camera Station, and others. PoE (802.3af) power delivery works with any standard PoE switch or injector rated for 13W minimum. Mounting brackets support both pole and corner installations on standard 1-inch and 1.5-inch infrastructure.
Installation Notes
Draws under 13W via 802.3af PoE—no auxiliary power supply required. IP66/IP67 rating means the camera survives continuous spray and 1 meter submersion for 30 minutes; IK10 impact resistance handles harsh outdoor environments. Operating range spans −10°C to +70°C (14°F to 158°F), suitable for most climates without active heating or cooling. RJ-45 connector is standard; use industrial-grade Cat5e/Cat6 cabling for runs over 100 meters to minimize voltage drop on PoE circuits. Camera dimensions are 312mm × 126mm × 104mm (including junction box); confirm mounting clearance before installation.
