The RE615X is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) range extender designed to expand wireless coverage in facilities where existing access point range does not reach critical security camera, access control, or mobile device deployment zones. It operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, supporting IEEE 802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax data link protocols. Deploy this unit in warehouse offices, secondary monitoring stations, or equipment rooms to eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones that compromise IoT sensor or camera connectivity.
The RE615X extends any Wi-Fi 6 or legacy 802.11a/b/g/n/ac router or access point. It bridges to existing networks without requiring firmware changes on the source AP. Compatible with standard WPA2 and WPA3 encryption protocols.
Position the extender within reliable signal range of your primary router (typically 15–30 feet) to avoid performance degradation. Placement in a central, elevated location minimizes obstruction from metal racks, concrete walls, or industrial equipment. The dual-band design allows you to segment legacy 2.4 GHz IoT devices from newer 5 GHz cameras and access points, reducing congestion on each band.
Confirm indoor-only installation — no IP rating is specified. Avoid direct mounting in high-vibration or temperature-extreme areas (ovens, freezers, outdoor shelters).
