TP-Link POE380S Omada 10G PoE++ Injector Adapter
Overview
The POE380S is a single-port midspan PoE++ injector rated for 90W of power delivery over a single 10Gbps Ethernet run. Deploy it where a powered endpoint—high-wattage PTZ camera, enterprise access point, or network appliance—exceeds the power budget of your upstream switch. The POE380S sits between the non-PoE source port and the powered device, injecting up to 90W of IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 power without requiring switch-side infrastructure changes. Steel casing and integrated AC power supply eliminate external bulk. Plug-and-play operation with auto-sensing power negotiation means zero configuration overhead.
Compatibility
The POE380S works with any IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, or 802.3bt endpoint requiring up to 90W—including high-drain wireless access points, multi-sensor IP cameras, network video recorders, and LED lighting systems. It integrates into TP-Link Omada managed deployments and functions as a standalone injector in non-managed networks. The auto-determining power algorithm ensures the device receives only the power it requests, avoiding overfeed to lower-class endpoints. Operates at 10Gbps, 5Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 1Gbps, 100Mbps, or 10Mbps depending on endpoint capability—no speed negotiation required.
Installation Notes
Connect unpowered data from your switch to the POE380S data-in port (RJ45, non-PoE side). Connect the power-out port (RJ45, PoE side) to your endpoint device using appropriate UTP or STP cabling: Category 5e minimum for 1Gbps–5Gbps runs (100m max), Category 6 or better for 10Gbps (50m max). Mount wall-adjacent to the endpoint or on a desktop near a standard AC outlet (100–240V, 50/60Hz input). Operating temperature range is 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F)—verify your installation environment stays within this window. Verify the endpoint device supports the injected power class before connecting. No external power adapter required.
