The POE380S is a single-port PoE injector designed to deliver up to 90W of power and data over one Ethernet run. This adapter solves the common deployment constraint where a powered endpoint (high-wattage IP camera, wireless access point, or network appliance) sits beyond the PoE budget or range of the primary network switch. Steel-case construction provides mechanical durability in rack or wall-mount environments. Compliant with IEEE 802.3bt, 802.3at, and 802.3af standards, it adapts to cameras and devices spanning multiple PoE power classes.
The POE380S integrates into TP-Link Omada managed network deployments and works with any IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, or 802.3bt endpoint requiring up to 90W. Typical use cases include powering high-drain wireless access points, multi-sensor IP cameras, or NVR appliances where a switch port alone cannot meet the power demand. It operates as a midspan injector: non-PoE data enters one 10Gbps port, power is injected, and both travel to the endpoint via the second 10Gbps PoE port.
Position the injector between the source switch and the powered endpoint. Connect unpowered data from the switch to the non-PoE port; connect the PoE port to the endpoint device. Verify the endpoint supports the injected power class before deployment. Steel enclosure allows rack mounting or surface wall mounting in secure locations. No external power adapter required — the injector itself draws power from a standard AC outlet (power consumption and input voltage specifications should be verified with the manufacturer's documentation for your installation context).
