The TL-POE260S is a single-port PoE injector for deployments requiring isolated power delivery to IP endpoints beyond the reach of a managed network switch. This adapter accepts data on one 2.5G port and injects 802.3at/af-compliant power onto the same cable, delivering up to 30W across distances of 100 meters without additional power infrastructure at the endpoint. The pocket-sized plastic enclosure suits retrofit and remote-site installations where space or cable runs are constrained.
The TL-POE260S pairs with any IP camera, wireless access point, or networked device rated for 802.3af (15.4W max) or 802.3at (30W max) PoE input. No device-specific model compatibility required — protocol compliance determines pairing eligibility. Verify the endpoint's power budget and connector type (standard RJ-45) before deployment.
The injector carries both data and power over a single Ethernet run up to 100 meters (328 feet). Use standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling; higher-grade cable does not improve PoE delivery but reduces insertion loss on data paths. Connect the non-PoE input port to a network source (NVR, switch, or router); connect the PoE output port to the powered endpoint. No configuration or power supply management required — the adapter handles power injection passively across all supported IEEE standards.
