Overview

The POE260S is a single-port PoE injector that consolidates data and power delivery on one Ethernet run. It supports 2.5G speeds on both the powered port and a separate non-PoE data port, compliant with IEEE 802.3at/af standards. This injector is sized for point-deployments where dedicated midspan infrastructure or network switch PoE capacity is unavailable or unnecessary. The plastic enclosure and pocket form factor make it suitable for wall-mounting or desktop placement in small offices, retail locations, or edge camera installations.

Compatibility & Installation

The POE260S terminates one 2.5G PoE-capable port and one 2.5G non-PoE port, making it suitable for powering a single PoE device (camera, wireless access point, or sensor) while maintaining a separate data path if required. Power and data travel over the same cable up to 100 meters (328 feet), eliminating the need for a separate power line to the endpoint. It complies with 802.3at/af specifications, delivering up to 30W of power — sufficient for most compact IP cameras and access points within the 802.3at budget. Confirm your endpoint device's PoE class and power draw before deployment to avoid undersized power allocation. The unit operates within standard indoor temperature ranges and uses a standard RJ-45 connector on both ports.

No external power source is required; the injector draws power from the upstream network connection and injects it into the outbound line. This design eliminates a wall outlet dependency at the camera or device location.
