TP-Link OC200 Omada Cloud Controller
Overview
The TP-Link OC200 is a cloud-based network controller that centralizes management of TP-Link Omada-series managed switches, access points, and PoE injectors. Unlike on-premises controllers, the OC200 eliminates the need for dedicated server hardware — it runs in the cloud and lets you provision, monitor, and troubleshoot your entire network stack from any browser. Deploy this when you're building out a multi-site network or need remote management without maintaining physical controller appliances.
Compatibility
The OC200 integrates with TP-Link Omada managed switches (T2700, T1500, T3700 series) and Omada wireless access points. It does not manage unmanaged switches or non-Omada devices. Confirm your switch and AP firmware versions support cloud controller integration — older hardware may require firmware updates before pairing to the OC200.
Installation Notes
The OC200 requires a network connection to the TP-Link cloud infrastructure and internet connectivity for your managed devices. Configure a static IP or DHCP reservation for each managed device on your local network, then add them to the cloud controller via the Omada app or web portal. Plan firewall rules to allow outbound HTTPS traffic from your network to TP-Link cloud endpoints. No physical installation is required — it is a SaaS service.
