Plug-and-play design means no configuration, no management software, no learning curve. The 32 Gbps switching capacity handles all 16 ports at line rate (1000 Mbps each), so there's no bandwidth bottleneck even under sustained traffic from multiple concurrent streams. Fanless construction keeps operating noise at zero—critical for utility closets inside occupied spaces. Operating range of 0°C to 40°C makes it suitable for climate-controlled server rooms and indoor equipment racks; avoid unheated outdoor enclosures.

Compatibility

The DS1016G integrates into any standard wired network infrastructure. All 16 ports are standard RJ-45 gigabit connectors supporting 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T on UTP category 5, 5e, or above cabling (maximum 100m cable runs). It pairs seamlessly with security systems that use standard network cameras, NVRs, access control panels, door readers, and IP-based sensors—no special hardware or firmware required. If your deployment uses PoE injectors or standalone power supplies for remote endpoints, this switch provides clean passthrough connectivity at full gigabit speed. Supports 802.1p QoS tagging for basic traffic prioritization if your upstream network management requires it. MAC address self-learning (8K table) and auto-negotiation on every port remove the need for manual speed/duplex configuration.
