STI STI-6200WIR Wireless Theft Stopper Lock
Overview
The STI-6200WIR is a wireless-enabled lock strike operating at 12VDC, designed for access control systems where push-button credential-free entry is the deployment goal. It pairs with the STI-34601 wireless doorbell button to trigger door strikes without hardwired card readers or complex wiring runs. Use this when you need wireless activation between an entry point and a strike mechanism—retrofit installations where pulling new wire runs is cost-prohibitive, or new builds where wireless simplicity reduces integration labor.
Compatibility
The STI-6200WIR operates exclusively with the STI-34601 wireless doorbell button. The system is designed for installations requiring wireless communication only; it does not integrate with wired access control panels, credential readers, or multi-door systems. Confirm the doorbell button (STI-34601) is present and compatible with your deployment scenario before ordering the strike.
Installation Notes
Mount using four (4) M4 × 25mm screws into wood or steel. For wood, pre-drill 3/16-inch (4.5mm) holes 1 inch (25mm) deep and use the provided plastic anchors. For steel, pre-drill 9/64-inch (3.5mm) holes. The unit measures 5.375 inches wide × 2 inches deep and draws power from a 9-volt battery. The deactivation/service cable (KIT-18015-9, included) is 16–18 inches long and routes through the base to silence the sounder if needed. Volume control is user-adjustable via a jumper cap on the circuit board—cap positioned on the right prongs for high volume (95–105dB default), left prongs for low volume. Replace the 9-volt battery when sounder output drops; no network or wireless pairing procedure is required beyond initial doorbell button setup.
