STI STI-1221E Flush Mount Strobe Damage Stopper Box
Overview
The STI-1221E is a flush-mount open back box designed to protect strobe notification devices from physical damage while meeting NEC and NFPA code compliance. This accessory combines a protective enclosure with simplified wiring termination, reducing field assembly time and material waste on integration projects. The open back design accommodates standard conduit entry and strobe signaling equipment without requiring site-specific modification.
Compatibility
Fits flush-mount strobe alarm installations in commercial security and life safety systems. The open back box configuration supports flexible mounting scenarios for standard notification appliances. Compatible with environments where frequent washdowns or physical contact risk may damage unprotected equipment — order the environmental kit (SUB-122) if installation occurs in areas with washdown exposure.
