Overview

The SS2109XT-EN is a push button turn-to-reset stopper station designed for access control installations requiring manual activation of magnetic lock strikes. Operating at 30VDC, this unit provides tactile push-to-activate control with a manual turn-to-reset mechanism—a straightforward approach to door release in facilities where you want staff or authorized users to explicitly authorize unlock events rather than relying on card readers or proximity detection alone. The NEMA Type 23 rated enclosure handles indoor commercial and institutional environments.

Compatibility

The SS2109XT-EN integrates with any access control system using 30VDC magnetic lock strikes. It pairs directly with standard 30VDC power supplies common in door strike and electromagnetic locking installations. The unit is compatible with both flush and surface mounting configurations—choose KIT-102720 for flush mounting (supplied standard), KIT-71100A for surface mounting without the flush plate, or KIT-71101B for extended depth surface installations requiring additional clearance behind the mounting surface. Suitable for button types in the SS2xx0 through SS2xx9 series family.

Installation Notes

Mounting dimensions: 6.36 in. width × 3.22 in. height. Standard mounting depth is approximately 1.25 in. when anchors are not used. Installation requires 3/16 in. diameter drill holes. Select your mounting kit based on available wall depth and desired profile—flush mount is the default for minimal protrusion; surface mount kits add versatility if retrofitting into existing infrastructure or where recess depth is unavailable. The 12mm worldwide mounting plate/spacer (KIT-102720) is supplied standard with the button; additional mounting options (KIT-71100A, KIT-71101B) are ordered separately if your installation geometry requires them.
