Description

STI STI-9841 Fireray Controller Damage Stopper

Overview

The STI-9841 is a protective guard enclosure designed to shield Fireray-based controller units from accidental impact, vandalism, and environmental exposure in commercial security deployments. At 11.52 x 10 x 3.58 inches, it houses controller electronics while maintaining accessibility for wiring and diagnostics. Install this where foot traffic, equipment movement, or weather poses a risk to your Fireray system's central logic — warehouses, loading docks, outdoor equipment rooms, or high-traffic corridors.

Compatibility

The STI-9841 is engineered for STI Fireray controller installations. Verify your specific controller model against STI compatibility documentation before ordering. This guard integrates into existing Fireray architectures without requiring firmware changes or protocol modifications — it functions as a passive protective enclosure only.

Installation Notes

The guard mounts using six #10-12 anchors drilled into a solid mounting surface (concrete, metal stud, plywood backing). Installation requires a 1/4-inch drill bit for anchor holes spaced per the mounting template. Three #10 x 1/2 Phillips pan-head screws (provided) secure the guard clips to the anchors. No special tools beyond a standard drill and Phillips screwdriver are needed. Mount the guard to a stable, level surface and ensure adequate clearance around wiring ports and the controller's front panel for routine access and troubleshooting.
