STI STI-9623 Beam Smoke Damage Stopper Controller
Overview
The STI-9623 is a controller unit that serves as the central coordination point for beam-type smoke detection and damage-prevention systems. It manages smoke detection signals and triggers response actions in fire safety and security installations where automated smoke containment or suppression is required. Deploy this where smoke detection must integrate with access control, fire alarm, or facility management systems to prevent damage spread or automate emergency responses.
Compatibility
The STI-9623 coordinates with STI beam smoke detection systems and fire safety frameworks. It integrates into existing access control and security infrastructure where smoke detection signals need to trigger door locks, dampers, or alarm outputs. Consult the detector unit documentation and system integrator for specific model compatibility within your fire safety architecture.
Installation Notes
Do not install the reflective beam guard until both transmitter and reflective mirror have been aligned and tested per System Sensor installation directions. Periodic cleaning of the beam smoke guard is required to prevent dust and debris buildup that degrades detection. To service the unit, back off the four corner screws, rotate the mounting clamps, and carefully remove the wire guard before reinstalling. Mounting hardware (four H19020 clamps and #10 × 1.5 inch screws) is provided for surface-mount or flush-mount electrical conduit installations.
