STI BIO-7505 Identification Reader Cover
Overview
The BIO-7505 is a smoke-colored polycarbonate protective enclosure for STI biometric and identification keypad readers. It mounts directly over existing reader hardware using six anchor points and a pre-cut gasket to shield keypads from environmental exposure—dust, water splash, UV—while preserving full front-panel accessibility for credential entry and scanning. Install this when your access control readers are in high-traffic corridors, outdoor vestibules, or environments where you need to extend equipment life without replacing the reader itself.
Compatibility
Designed for STI keypad-type biometric and identification readers, including the G750098 unit. The BIO-7505 fits as a direct overlay; no reader modification is required. If you run STI access control systems with exposed keypads in weathered locations, this cover integrates into standard door access control installations without protocol or wiring changes.
Installation Notes
Mount requires six 3/16-inch (4.7mm) diameter holes drilled 7/8 inch (22.2mm) deep into the mounting surface behind the existing keypad. The cover measures 8.75 inches wide × 6.75 inches tall × 4.75 inches deep. Six #8 × 1-inch screws (included) secure the assembly after the pre-applied gasket is positioned. The gasket's center and perimeter sections can be trimmed if your reader geometry requires cutouts. Cleaning is water-safe: rinse, wash with mild soap and soft cloth, dry thoroughly. Do not scrub or use abrasive tools; naphtha removes grease or wet paint if needed.
