Overview
The STI-6560S is a molded polycarbonate enclosure designed to shield keypad-based access control readers from physical damage, grime, and environmental exposure. The widebody profile fits larger digital keypads and related control devices. This model includes an integrated key lock for physical security of the reader assembly, and is finished in smoke color for discrete mounting. Installation is straightforward with anchors and screws provided — no reader replacement or reconfiguration of access control logic needed.
Compatibility
This protector is compatible with keypad-based access control readers and similar wall-mounted control devices (volume controls, lighting controls, alarm keypads). It accommodates standard STI reader form factors and fits larger widebody keypad installations without modification to underlying access control wiring or authentication logic.
Installation Notes
Typical working temperature range is −40°F to 250°F (−40°C to 121°C), suitable for indoor and outdoor deployments. For environments requiring frequent hosing or high moisture exposure, optional gaskets are available to seal against water ingress. Fast installation requires only anchors and screws. The smoke polycarbonate material is molded thick for impact resistance and is backed by a three-year manufacturer warranty against breakage in normal use.
