The FDX60M2M is an industrial-grade data transceiver that converts serial RS232, RS422, and 2-wire or 4-wire RS485 signals into fiber-optic transmission over multimode cable. Deploy this unit where you need to extend data links (panel-to-remote sensor, access control backbone, meter polling) beyond copper's noise-susceptible distance limits — typical surveillance backbone scenarios include connecting a central NVR to remote IP gateway units, or bridging isolated serial devices across long runs without EMI degradation. The unit handles DC–250 kbps bidirectional asynchronous or full-duplex RS data, drawing only 2 W at 9–30 VDC input.

Compatibility

FDX60M2M integrates with any surveillance or building-systems architecture using standard RS232, RS422, or RS485 control lines.
