Overview

The FDC10S1A is a small-format bi-directional contact closure transceiver designed to transmit discrete relay signals over single-mode fiber up to 69 km — solving the distance and noise-immunity problem when you need to trigger remote devices (door locks, gate controls, alarm relays) from a central security hub without running shielded copper pairs across your campus or between buildings. This industrial-grade unit handles 2 contact closures per direction over a single fiber strand, making it cost-effective for surveillance sites where fiber backbone already exists.

Compatibility

The FDC10S1A pairs with any security control system or NVR equipped with relay outputs and inputs (dry contact triggers). Common integration points include access control panels, video management systems with event relay ports, alarm hubs, and intercom systems that support contact closure signaling. The ST optical connector and terminal-block signal connectors ensure compatibility with standard fiber infrastructure and industrial control wiring.
