Installation Notes
This is a wired reader/controller, not a wireless or battery unit — plan a home-run or OSDP daisy-chain cable path back to the panel rather than relying on a standalone power source. Because it combines proximity and keypad reading in one housing, mount it where both a card presentation surface and keypad access are usable at typical hand height, and terminate per your panel manufacturer's OSDP wiring diagram (polarity and termination matter more on OSDP runs than on simple Wiegand pulls).
