Overview

The Pelco IMF122-1ES is an 8MP fisheye designed to eliminate blind spots in single-camera deployments by capturing 360-degree panoramic views from one vantage point. Built-in dewarping transforms the hemispherical image into standard rectilinear video feeds, letting you integrate with existing video management systems without rewriting analytics pipelines — though edge analytics disable in dewarped and high-frame-rate modes to preserve CPU headroom. Ship this into schools, retail floors, casinos, hotels, or transportation hubs where you need one camera to cover what would otherwise require two or three traditional fixed domes.

Compatibility

Works with any ONVIF Profile S, G, or T–compliant VMS, including Pelco VideoXpert and third-party platforms that support standard IP camera feeds. PoE+ (802.3at) delivery means you can run this on any managed or unmanaged PoE+ switch with sufficient budget — no separate power injectors required. Integrates into existing 1 Gbps Ethernet infrastructure without special switching or cabling beyond standard Cat5e or better runs.

Installation Notes

Mount options span wall, ceiling, pole, pendant, and corner configurations — flexibility to fit awkward spaces where a traditional dome won't sit flush. IP66/IP67 and IK10 vandal resistance mean outdoor or semi-sheltered mounting is viable; surface-mount variants support paintable front plates for aesthetic blending. Operating temperature range of -10°C to +70°C covers most temperate climates but not arctic or desert extremes. Built-in microphone enables two-way audio or event-triggered call-outs; audio compresses via Opus or G.711 PCM at 8 kHz.
