The FPO75-D8E1R is a 75W Class 2 power-limited supply designed to feed multiple auxiliary devices in surveillance and access control installations. It delivers either 6A at 12V or 3A at 24V — the choice determines how much current each of the eight outputs can distribute. Each auxiliary output is individually fused at 2.5A maximum, preventing one failed load from collapsing the entire supply. The red enclosure signals E1-rated equipment in compliance with fire-alarm and life-safety standards, making it suitable for installations where building codes require marked power management.
Install this supply anywhere you need to power multiple low-draw peripherals: door locks, badge readers, relay modules, alarm sirens, buzzer solenoids, or secondary sensors. It works with any Class 2 device rated for 12V or 24V DC. Integrates into larger surveillance plants where a central supply feeds distributed auxiliary loads across multiple zones or floors. Verify your devices' voltage requirement (12V or 24V) before final configuration — this unit runs one voltage at a time, not both simultaneously.
Wire the primary input (120V AC or 240V AC as marked on the unit) through a breaker or fused disconnect per electrical code. Each auxiliary output port supplies up to 2.5A at full load; do not exceed this per-output limit. The eight outputs accept standard screw-terminal connections — strip wire 1/4 inch and torque gently to seat the connection without crushing insulation. In installations exceeding 2.5A per output or requiring >75W total, cascade multiple FPO75 supplies or step to a higher-capacity model. Mount in a locked electrical closet, equipment rack, or wall-mounted enclosure to comply with life-safety labeling requirements.
