Overview

The HLPR67T is a license plate capture camera designed for perimeter security, parking lot monitoring, and vehicle identification at access gates and toll plazas. This unit solves the core problem of readable plate resolution — capturing vehicles at distance without wasting storage on lower-resolution wide-angle footage. It integrates into existing Speco surveillance deployments and works with third-party ONVIF-compatible VMS platforms.

Compatibility

The HLPR67T is compatible with Speco surveillance systems supporting ONVIF Profile S/T connectivity. It integrates with standard network video recorders (NVRs) and video management systems (VMS) platforms that accept RTSP or ONVIF streams. Verify your NVR firmware version supports third-party IP camera integration before deployment.

Installation Notes

Mount the HLPR67T on a rigid fixed bracket — vehicle-identification footage quality depends on stable positioning. Aim the optics perpendicular to traffic flow for maximum plate legibility. Position the camera 25–40 feet from the target vehicle path; closer distances reduce depth-of-field issues. Ensure network cabling (Cat5e or better) is rated for your environmental conditions. Power via PoE-capable network switch; verify your switch supplies sufficient wattage for this model before installation. No external power supply required if your PoE infrastructure meets the device's wattage rating.
