Overview

The NTC-227-01-01 is a 4G LTE Cat-1 industrial IoT router designed for DIN rail installation in distributed networking and remote asset monitoring deployments. Unlike the region-locked variants in the NTC family (NTC-221 for ANZ, NTC-222 for EMEA, NTC-224/225 for North America), the global NTC-227 supports 18 LTE bands (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B7, B8, B12, B13, B18, B19, B20, B25, B26, B28, B29, B40, B41) — eliminating the need for separate units across geographies. This compact form factor mounts directly to standard DIN rail in control cabinets, junction boxes, and enclosures without requiring separate brackets or adapter plates.

Compatibility

The NTC-227-01-01 integrates into industrial control networks, remote camera sites, access control installations, and field data aggregation systems. It pairs with standard 12VDC power supplies (PSU-0079 or equivalent 12VDC 1.5A supply recommended). The Ethernet port connects to any standard network switch or PoE injector; Serial and USB 2.0 interfaces support legacy industrial devices and configuration tools. Three discrete I/O lines and ignition sensing accommodate vehicle telematics, door/window sensors, and equipment state monitoring. GNSS positioning enables GPS-stamped event logging for mobile or temporary deployments.

Installation Notes

DIN rail mounting uses the included horizontal DIN rail bracket — no tools required for installation on standard 35mm DIN rail. The 1.5m yellow Ethernet cable is factory-included for immediate deployment. Cellular antenna (single, 3dBi, SMA male connector) ships with the unit; dual-antenna configurations are available as separate order. Mounting orientation on DIN rail should position the antenna connector upward or toward an external wall to minimize multipath loss.
